Wings of Resolve is a science-fiction visual novel about a post-disaster world, the fight for survival, and a pilot’s relentless pursuit of freedom against fate and duty.

Born after the Great Catastrophe of the Call of Tambora, Iuan came into the world missing an arm. Like many young people of their generation, the lack of oxygen during their mother's pregnancy led to a genetic malformation. Since childhood, they have lived with a prosthetic left arm.

Passionate about aviation from an early age, they had always dreamed of becoming a pilot. Unfortunately, in their world, aviation was now only used in times of war. Having personally experienced military conflict, Iuan’s parents were hesitant about their ambitions. Following their advice, they pursued studies that did not truly interest them. Eventually, they earned their degree at the age of 21, making their parents proud. However, despite this achievement, Iuan felt frustrated—they had come to fully realise that they were now stuck in a job that did not ignite their passion.

After a heated argument with their parents about their future, they slammed the door of their family home and decided to chase their dream. Having gained some knowledge of aviation through years of growing passion, they set off—though not without doubt—to a remote military base in a city within their country. That was the moment when everything changed.

Iuan is an aviation enthusiast from an early age and they always wanted to become a pilot ! 

As a young person with a thirst for adventure, they tend not to step back from their choices. But when they finally get the chance to realise their dream, Iuan's impetuous character will be tested between his ideals and his morals.

General Cochran is a superior in the Army. When she sees how far she's come and how many sacrifices she had to make before becoming Vice-President of the One Hundred, she tells herself that newcomers must be treated with rigour and discipline.

She feels slightly superior to the others, but deep down this maybe hides an inferiority complex.

Mayra is a railway switch operator who was forcibly recruited to serve in the war between her country and Eivilob. Once the war was over, she fled the country with her husband

.

Having always positioned herself as the authority figure in her relationship. She always feared that her child's obsession with aviation would lead them to want to become an aviator. She didn't want Iuan to be involved in the horrors of war. So she was relieved when her child opted for more academic studies.

Moisés is a station manager. As a calm and gentle figure, he has always been the compassionate one in his relationship.

Having lost his sister to the war, Moisés knows all too well the horrors of conflict. Worried about his child, he fears that they will decide to follow their dream of becoming an aviator. 

As an only child, his parents were harsh and often disappointed in him. He always did his best to please them, but to do so Even learned to hide an important part of his personality.

After studying engineering, he became a database manager for S.A.F.E. In his job, he's in charge of making sure that everything's running smoothly for S.A.F.E.'s employees, and regularly comes in to deal with computer problems.
